Set up and operate machine tools of conventional and/or computer controlled (CNC) machines. Fits and assembles parts to make metal parts and materials. Determines dimensions and tolerances of material for machining, sequences of operations required by studying specifications such as blueprints and sketches. Makes adjustments to adhere to established specifications. Plans and executes routine to complex machining assignments using machine tools ranging from multiple axis lathes to mills. Uses precision measuring tools to check accuracy of work.

Essential functions:
1. Set-up, adjust and operate machine controls to position tools or regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow to produce precision metal parts and materials as specified by work order, blueprints, drawing, templates or layout.
2. May determines specifications or procedures for tooling set-up, machine operation, work-piece dimensions or numerical control sequences using blueprints, instructions and machine knowledge.
3. Mounts, aligns and secures tooling, attachments and work-piece on machine chuck. Start and stop automatic operation of numerical control machine parts or test setup, work-piece dimensions or programming. May adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machine malfunctions.
4. Monitor and maintain machines during use in order to diagnose machine malfunctions, need for adjustments or repairs. May perform routine machine maintenance.
5. Ensure proper dimensions of finished material to ensure conformance to specifications.
6. May clean machine, tooling and parts and area surrounding machine in accordance with 5S procedures.
7. May adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machine malfunctions.
8. Demonstrate ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive criticism and exhibit initiative and commitment.

Job Description:
Pick up designated sub-assembly plumbing fixtures at sub-assembly station.
Sort sub-assembly fixtures on top of hot tub where it will be installed. Tie and tape hoses as needed.
Sub-assembly fixture is pushed into shell on one side and pulled inside shell on the other side.
Install water hoses over jets and clamp hose to jet with clamp plyers.
Dab hoses with glue and primer at fitting and hose end and use pvc pipe or flexible hose to join hoses together.
Use cutting tool to cut flexible hose for installation of T or J pipe as needed.
Slide hot tub to next work station on rollers.
Use of small hand tools
Fast paced environment

Essential Qualifications:
At least 6 months manufacturing experience where various assembly functions are performed.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Overtime required

Desirable Qualifications:
Billingual (English/Spanish) a PLUS!
